Generator Safety

Using a generator in the wrong place could result in deadly levels of carbon monoxide. Carbon monoxide is a dangerous, odorless, colorless gas that is the leading cause of poisoning death in the U.S.

Never run a generator in a space that is even partially enclosed. Make sure engine exhaust is directed away from windows, doors and vents. To learn more about generator safety, click here.
