Right now, Beartooth Electric Coop­rative (BEC) is considering its board obligations under the bylaws to its members. Dec.14th's board meeting will include, if it can be assumed from the last meeting, the issues of transparency and accessibility of board members to members and media.

BEC is Hiring: Temporary Work Order Clerk

Beartooth Electric Cooperative, Inc. seeks qualified candidates for the position of a Temporary Work Order Clerk.  This position is responsible for maintaining records and accounts relating to work orders and new service processes.  Additional responsibilities include performing monthly closings and general office support tasks. These responsibilities and tasks will be coordinated with and supervised by the Accountant.

BEC 2018 Washington D.C. Youth Tour Applications Now Open

Beartooth Electric Cooperative is proud to announce it will, once again, sponsor an all-expense paid trip for a high school sophomore or junior to attend the National Rural Electric Cooperative Youth Tour in Washington, DC. This year's Youth Tour is being held June 9-15, with an orientation meeting in Great Falls on June 8. The Youth Tour will bring together more than 1,500 students representing 44 states. Participants will see all that Washington, D.C. has to offer while learning about the history of the United States and the electric cooperative movement and role in American history.

2018 Budget Process

To ensure Beartooth Electric Cooperative, Inc. (BEC) is operated in accordance with good business practice and is fiscally sound, BEC Amended Bylaws (09/23/2017) Article IV Board Trustees, Section 1. General Powers, Item F. reads, The Board shall ensure that the Members are notified of the timeframe for review and approval of the annual budget.
